Zionsville Hockey Club

The Zionsville Hockey Club will again join forces with the Central Indiana Knights to form a JV team for the 2021-22 season. We are pleased to announce that Alex Moyer will be the Head Coach. Alex is a Zionsville High School Alum who has been playing hockey since 1992. While his coaching experience has been solely spent with the Indy Jr. Fuel, Alex is excited to be the Head Coach for The Northside Hockey Club. He brings with him years of experience from being both a player and coach, as well as being a fan of the sport of hockey. When Alex isn’t coaching, you can find him running his business Vivid Automotive, spending time with his wife and their two dogs, and playing in his many men’s hockey leagues. Welcome Alex, we are excited to have you!

The Zionsville Hockey Club is pleased to announce that our tryouts for the 2021-22 season will be the following dates:
1. Monday, June 7th from 6:30 – 7:30pm
2. Wednesday, June 9th from 7:30 – 8:30pm
3. Thursday, June 10th from 6:30 – 7:30pm
All sessions will be at the Carmel Ice Skadium

The Zionsville Hockey Club, in cooperation with the Carmel Icehounds, Central Indiana Knights, HSE, South Stars, Westfield and Bloomington hockey clubs, is pleased to announce the 4th season of a Spring Hockey League. The League will consist of 6 games over a 7-week period. The intent is to provide incoming high school players with the opportunity to experience HS hockey and stay in hockey shape prior to tryouts in June.

This spring league is open to all returning non-senior ZHC players from the 2020-21 season as well as new incoming players assigned to our program. Seniors from the 2020-21 season are not eligible.

REGISTRATION: CLOSED

COST: The cost will be $100 per player for the entire session (players can expect at least 4 games, possibly more, depending on the total number of players). Checks can be made payable to Zionsville Hockey Club.

The Zionsville Hockey Club is pleased to announce that there will be a Prospect Skate on Wednesday, March 24th from 7:30 – 8:30pm at the Carmel Ice Skadium (Rink 1).
The coaching staff will run a few drills and then there will be a friendly scrimmage.
There will be an informational meeting for the parents explaining high school hockey in Indiana, what the ZHC program is about and details on the upcoming Hoosier League Spring League.

The skate is open to all current ZHC players and incoming high school players from the following High Schools: Zionsville Community High School, North Central HS, Ben Davis HS, Herron HS, Cardinal Ritter HS, Lebanon HS, Pike HS, Speedway HS, Western Boone HS and Lafayette area HS.

After an exciting weekend of tournament games, the Zionsville Arctic Eagles have secured a spot in the 3A Indiana State Championship game.
The game will be on Saturday, March 6th at 3:40PM Eastern Time at the Kube Sports Complex in Hammond, IN.
The game will live streamed on You Tube (search for Zionsville Hockey Club for the live link).
There will be a “send off” event at 10:30am on Saturday at the Zionsville Town Hall (1100 W. Oak Street). Come and cheer the team on as they will depart on a bus for the big game.
